The car began to jerk and shake while driving on a local street and I had to reduce my speed to 15-20 mph. The EPC light came on and the car was towed to a repair shop. Fortunately the owner of the shop has an Audi so was able to repair. A week later the engine light came on requiring additional work. 6 months and 3,500 miles later the EPC light is on again. All the coils were replaced, CO2 removed at a cost of $1,000. less then one week later EPC light on again and car is in the shop for greater then 1 week. Family had planned a road trip which we need to cancel since our 2011 Audi is again in the shop.
FYI; this car had abnormal oil consumption and after multiple trips to the dealer the engine was replaced. The car has 71,000 miles so I feel this amount of work is abnormal and Audi should be responsible. Full disclosure my wife primarily drives the car around the neighborhood so it is not driven aggressively.
