The vehicle was taken to a local dealer for the recall repair; however, the contact was informed that parts for the recall repair were unavailable. The vehicle remained at the dealer awaiting parts for the repair. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was contacted and was unable to confirm when the parts would become available. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
