Driving on the highway at approximately 60 mph, all of the sudden the car loses control and is fishtailing. I was able to regain control and pull off the road at an exit ramp. The passenger side rear tire was completely blown out. I do not recall running over anything or hearing a pop, the tire simply exploded. The tires are Continental contiprocontact 255/40/19. The tire pressure sensor did not indicate low pressure before the blowout or following the incident.
