CarComplaints.com Notes: The 3rd generation A8 got off to a slow start. Really slow, like "limp home" slow thanks to leaking antifreeze frying the engine's control modules. Thankfully the problem was recalled in September 2016.

This is Audi's top of the line sedan and having this type of problem undetected after several scheduled service and other repairs is frustrating not to mention the astronomical cost involved with this problem and other repairs I have made. Even though my car is out of warranty, this and other issues should not be happening on any car with low miles and on a flagship model for this company. I am truly disappointed and will try every avenue possible to me to shed light on this and Audi's unwillingness to offer any solution to help resolve this other than me having to pay this on my own. This is just one of other major issues I am having with the A8L.
