2019 Audi A7 - Water Pump failed while I was on a road trip. Failed in Tulsa, OK which is 800 miles from my home. Took the Tulsa Audi Dealership 5 days to replace the water pump stranding me there until repairs were complete at a cost of roughly another $1000.00 out of pocket for hotel and food. The Audi Dealership to their credit did provide me with a loaner vehicle at no extra charge. I have noted there was a Class Action case against Audi for this model Audi. I was never contacted.
Rant On:
This is the second major failure of this 2019 Audi A7. The first was a Starter/Generator that left me stranded on the side of the road and took 6 weeks for the Dealer to repair. I had to have the car towed into the Dealership. This happened at 53,000 miles - 3 months and 3,000 miles out of standard warranty. Audi knew they had a problem with this item and had extended the warranty on it to 70,000 miles. Audi should have recalled the vehicles instead they let me get stranded on the side of the road and be without my car for 6 weeks - pathetic. As no surprise, I have sold the 2019 Audi A7 and will never buy another Audi. The worse car I've owned in over 40 years.
