Brought the car in to the local Audi dealer, they installed the 3.0 TDI emissions "fix", which included parts and software changes. Immediately after the fix, the car started surging, especially at constant throttle, between 20mph and 50mph. It's significant enough that your head bobs front and back while it is surging.
Returned car to Audi, they evaluated, brought in a regional tech rep, and agreed with and documented the issue. They do not know how to fix the car, and have deemed it to be operating as it should be after the TDI emissions fix. The car now runs poorly, I have lost confidence in it, and I'm not sure who would buy it from me once they've had a chance to test-drive the car.
Audi has walked away from a problem that they have created. I am more than disappointed with VW/Audi, and cannot purchase another one of their products. They would not even buy the car back from me. Anybody else out there with a similar outcome?
