Customer may complain about brake squeak or squeal with light moderate pedal pressure. The noise is created by the brake pad material. A new brake pad (part number 4G0698151K) with improved compound has been developed. The supplier cannot currently produce this part in high volume due to factory capacity, which is causing a delay in part availability. It is possible that installing the original brake pad (part number 4G0698151D) will reduce the noise, but doing so is not always effective.
