Customer may report that the gearbox warning message is on. DTC P0706 (driving mode sensor, implausible signal) is stored in the transmission control module (TCM), J217 (address 02). There is a reaction between the TCM and the automatic transmission fluid (ATF) in vehicles within a specific VIN range.
