2007 Audi A6 car with ignition module failure; common problem with replacement, must be done buy dealer at a cost of approximately $3000. Previous models could be repaired for hundreds of dollars vs thousands of dollars. Dealer told me to plead with the local dealer for mercy. Is a design that benefits the dealers because they are the only ones that can fix the problem. Local garages that I contacted new of problem and there are many online discussions of this problem.
