2004 A6 caught on fire driving down the interstate. It was on TV channel 5 when it did burn down right outside of Des Moines Iowa. Then after that happened, I bought a 2008 Audi S6 with a 5.2 V 10 in it for $20,000 used with 140,000 miles on it and the dealership fixed the manifold so I could drive it home. I didn’t even get 10,000 miles on it and the intake fell apart and then I find a piece of the intake underneath the intake. So I spent $3000 more on another intake brand new from Audi put it on and that does not fix my problem.
I come to find out one of the lifters came off and got stuck underneath the cam on the passenger side so the passenger side cam wasn’t working and it probably sheared the pin on the side of it on the gears! I’m getting ready to pull the motor in it now. I think after I get it fixed I might drive it up back to the dealership and drive it through their front door. I won’t but these people need to quit f** people over on cars, especially used cars.
