- Summary
- Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 01 number 13-31 dated September 25, 2013. MIL on. Customer may report loss of performance. DTC P008700 (fuel rail pressure too low) may be stored in the engine control module, J623 (address word 01). Under extreme driving conditions with the A/C compressor switched off (e.g., long idle periods or extended stop-and-go traffic), high temperatures can build up in the fuel rail and may lead to fluctuations in fuel pressure, possibly causing DTC P008700 to be stored. Coolant temperature above 102?C in the freeze frame data can be an indicator of those extreme driving conditions.
