The contact owns a 2012 Audi A5. The contact stated that the vehicle hesitated to accelerate, especially while on an incline and when accelerating from a stop. There was no warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was taken to rusnak pasadena Audi (626-714-3159, located at 267 w Colorado blvd, pasadena, ca 91105) where it was diagnosed that the mass air flow sensor was faulty and needed to be replaced. The dealer referred the contact to the manufacturer and NHTSA. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that there was no recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 75,000.
