Car would not accelerate EPC light came on. I contacted the dealership and they said it was probably fuel related just said to use fuel line dryer and top of tank. This did not fix the problem and I took the vehicle in and was told it needed a new turbo which they just happened to have available in he parts dept.
I asked why a turbo would go out at 70,000 miles. Mason from Molle Audi was very condescending and told me parts break.
After the repair was completed i came across a letter from Audi from June stating that they had extended the warranty on turbochargers to 70,000 miles! My car started acting up at 69,??? And I was instructed by Molle Audi service to put fuel dryer in and keep driving it, this repair should have been covered.
I believe that Molle should have brought the warranty extension to my attention and had Audi cover it under the warranty extension the car had 70,500 when I took it in a week later I live 35 miles from the city and commute daily.
Molle completed the repair and a week and a half later the catalytic converter went out this was repaired under warranty due to federal mandate.I had not been driving this car after the repairs and due to weather started driving it again and it again will not accelerate runs rough I called the dealership and was told to pull over and turn it off and then back on. Then it would not say running and then not even start. Had to be towed.
This car is not a reliable form of transportation.
