Sunroof inexplicably shattered while driving at 60 mph on highway. Had my two grandchildren in car at the time so was very worried. Car is three weeks old. Called Audi dealer who claimed that warranty provides no glass coverage. I maintain that this is a design defect of some sort. Glass should not shatter with no apparent cause. Center of break spiderweb is exact center of sunroof (weakest point??) and clearly broke outward, rather than inward as might result from object thrown from roadside or overpass. Was nowhere near overpass or populated areas. Anybody have any similar experience?? Advice??
