From the moment I purchased the 2008 Audi A4 I had problems. With a month or two of my buying the car new I noticed oil leaking on top of the engine. Since it was under warranty they fixed it.....Then a few months after that I kept getting a "Check Engine" light I took it back and they found out I had a defective sensor...They replaced that since it was still under warranty. I short time after that I took it back again for a "rattling" speaker...had that replaced (Under Warranty). I have take my car in for its tune ups although a few times I have been late doing it. The car has 52,000 miles on it (The warranty expired at 50,000miles) While driving last week I had to pull off the road and have the car towed because of engine problems. I took it to the dealership and it appears the 3rd cylinder lost compression and potentially needs a valve job or worse. I had missed ONE tune up and because of that and the fact the Warranty expired 2, 000 miles ago the dealership is using that as a basis not to cover the cost or even half the cost on what is basically a new car. They took a look at the engine using a microscope and saw nothing that would prove that missing ONE tune up is the cause for this (example no broken spark plugs that feel in the engine, no oil etc...) Everything from this point looks like it was a defect in the engine. But they of course won't admit that I will NEVER buy Audi again and would recommend do not buy an a4!!!!
