The vehicle is 10 years, special ordered and purchased new. Pristine condition never missed a maintenance and always garage kept.
I was told I was out of pocket because I did not take it 40 miles away to the nearest Audi dealer. It left me stranded on a Saturday evening and I had AAA take it to a my local German Car Center.
So here is the bottom line on how Audi USA views their customer's once the vehicle is out of warranty. The Audi Customer Careless management lead by Donnellan are fearful. Fearful of doing the right thing for longtime customers and view there business as a 1 car sale the walk away. All I asked or pleaded for was reimbursement for the recalled parts which were purchased at the Audi dealership. Fear is no way to manage a brand. However, Audi should rather fear losing their brand equity if this is there Customer Careless stance.
Message to Customer Careless: The Priority Mail package (previous Case 150949357) was sent to the Audi Care office in Auburn Hills. USPS delivery confirmation below. It was actually received on December 4th. After speaking with Patsy she indicated the package would be forwarded to Mr. Donnellan in the Herndon, VA office. Yesterday Patsy called to tell me they could not locate the package which she told me was received and being forwarded to VA. She also indicated that her management claims this is a not an Audi problem as it is out of warranty.

The attached file includes the letter to Mr. Donnenllan including all of the detail. A work order receipt for the extraordinary repair of the camshaft. Images of the defective part. The Autowerks facility purchased all parts directly from Audi and can provide me with the part numbers and purchase order for this repair. I also have the photo images which I can send separately.
I am asking that this claim be elevated to the highest appropriate authority. Yesterday’s call from Patsy was surprising and disappointing that management would use her as ‘the messenger’. Certain the Audi Care group can do the proper diligence and respond to this claim professionally and ethically. This is one of the reasons I have been a long time Audi enthusiast and customer.
