This car has been a nightmare. In the 18 months that I've owned it, I have to replace piece by the piece the entire top end of the engine, timing belt, wiring harness, coolant system components, etc. I have spent nearly $14k in repairs and had I known it was going to be such a nightmare, I would have sold it long ago, but every time I took it in, they told me "this should do it!" The local Audi dealer uses "manufacturer's suggested repairs" and this includes using jumper wires on the wiring harness, which had to be fully replaced by a foreign x mechanic because it was arc'ing and a fire hazard. Even so, the engine runs rough today and idles poorly and the engine lights come on constantly for issues that were just repaired. Such a beautiful car to look at but a money pit to say the least. At 32k miles, you would think the repairs would be minimal. I love the look of the Audi but this being my first ownership experience, it will also be my last. It's no wonder they drop 50%+ in value as soon as the mfg warranty runs out! If you buy a used one, buy an extended warranty, which I would never recommend otherwise!
