Bought the car used - within a few months starting to periodically have big puffs of smoke out the back when I accelerated. Within 1 1/2 years of owning it the engine needed to be rebuilt due to excessive oil leaks and engine no longer running properly. Within a week of the rebuild the smoke returned, within 6 weeks the check engine light was on again. My biggest complaint is Audi knows this is a problem and rather than do a recall they say the car's too old - but it's the same problem happening to other cars with the same engine.
