car clearly has electrical gremlin. first the car dash said shut down immediately because low on antifreeze, it wasnt really low when i checked. dealer reportedly put more in. next the car perimeter key wouldnt work, had to use the fob to open. switched keyfobs and it works intermittently, next the dash reads the center brakelight is out, it was NOT out, but took video to show dealer, because it was intermittently on/off, next the dash reads keyfob battery is low, didnt change it, it still works (albeit intermittently for perimeter) and the light went off after shutting car off for a few minutes (no way battery recharges itself in that time without a source) wtf audi. i spent /WASTED ALOT to prep this lease vehicle to be purchased at end of lease. i bought snow rims tires to keep factroy ones nice, i put a clear bra on to keep wear down, bought service package for dealer approved service and parts. Im LIVID PISSED, fixed or not, i dont want to purchase a vehicle that clearly has electrial problems. I wasted 3000.00 in parts to keep car new, im now wasting 3 years of paying down the depreciation of a car i cant in good concious buy. Dealer response was bring it in and see what we can give you for it. its a year old and will be upside down, gee, let me pay you more for an inferior product, let me pay for mileage so you can drive it to figure out your problem. im going back to toyota. they dont have the "upscale" feel but its reliable brand, good resale and worth the money saved. I am soooooooo pissed off at audi. why cant you build something that in a 1 year period doesnt take away confidence in your product. its a huge purchase, i take excellent care of my cars, i keep them, but im also loyal, this was a brand shift for me and im genuinely dissapointed. if you cant keep a cars electrical system from shorting out the first 16,000 miles, how do you trust ANY of its components long term.
