Mechatronics failed and dropped all its oil on the road, got it replaced by an independent mechanic and audi did end up reimbursing me for to as there as recall later on. Problems are starting to come back again so it must be a design flaw in the gearbox. Gear indicator is flashing and i loose drive until i restart the car.

Car stayed in first gear when the mechatronic malfunctioned, rendering it unusable. It took more than a month for me to use the car again, from the time it was diagnosed until the mechatronic was replaced.
