To start things off, I love my Audi A3(VW GTI). By far one of the nicest cars I've owned, coming from things like an 08 Ford Edge. But these Audi/VW 2.0t motors in 2007 buyers beware. The amount of oil used and pollution they must put out is insane. On a good month it is 1 quart per 1,800 miles. On a bad month maybe 800 miles. From my research at audiworld.com for oil consumption, this is a huge problem that Audi says is in spec and its normal to see them use a quart every 1200 miles. I have always been used to maybe 1 quart every 6,000 miles on all my prior American car.. How can they get away with this much pollution also. I hope this brings some awareness not only to car owners but for pollution reasons that Audi/VW can be singled out as a company that won't help their customers, stand up to their faults or take care of the environment. Last Audi ever unless something is done.
