The contact owns a 2011 Acura Zdx. While driving various speeds, the front driver side strut made a loud clunking noise. The contact stated that the vehicle experienced vibration that entered into the floorboard and traveled up through the steering wheel. The vehicle was taken to mike hail Acura in salt lake city, Utah and stated that the failure was a common issue, but the vehicle was not covered under warranty. In addition, the contact referenced service bulletin number: 16-020 as the description of the failure. The dealer stated that the service bulletin did not include the contact's VIN. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.
