The car made a whine noise with acceleration in gear or park since DAY1!!! It sounded like a turbo or super-charger noise. I had a dealer tech listen to it when the car was 2 months old. They said it was normal.
Problem persists.
I finally get a more competent dealer tech to listen to the noise (even though I am now out of warranty). He takes an audio clip of the sound and sends it to Honda/Acura Tech line. They inform me that the transmission needs to be replaced (at just over 100,000 miles)!!! I expect this from an American car built in the 1980's, not from an Acura or Honda built in 2012. This will be my last Honda/Acura. I have owned 5 prior to this one.
