We bought the Acura named above at jmk Fiat in springfield, NJ. It has 4 Michelin 225/50R17 tires on it. It has only been three weeks and one of the tires was dry rotted and went flat. My mechanic said all four have to be replaced. My wife and son were about to travel to New York right before this occurred. I know their was a recall on these tires but I bought this car used and the dealership refuses to do anything. Can I do anything here?
The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) goes off 2-10 times a month saying "system function error" and all wheels on the vehicle show a pressure of "--" versus the normal display of the psi in the tires. Dealers tell me nothing is wrong and problem isn't reproducible.
Passenger side rear wheel lower control arm B bolt fell off. The bottom of that wheel was jutting out while the top of that wheel moved towards the inside of the car. Car was unsafe to drive. A new bolt was installed where the lower control arm connects to the frame. The car was brought to Acura for their review. The result was that everything checked out as normal.
