The damage of the seal inside the boot of the power steering system... (black boots on the inside of the tire connected to the rack and pin steering system). The seal broke allowing fluid to fill up the boot on the right side.. the leaking of power steering fluid will eventually cause the reservoir to empty which stops power assisted steering in the car... which is vital to the car. My 2005 TSX has had numerous power steering issues, most of which i can connect back to the recall of faulty hoses..I had the hose rupture and loss fluid, which caused excessive damage to the steering system and further problems.. Total cost to repair the boots and system total $2000.. The boot could be repaired separately for cheaper at other autoshops, but the damage to the rack and pin system(popping sounds when in tight turn) is the big cost..
