I bought my Acura used in 2007 and in October 2010 my power door lock on the passenger side front door stopped working. I was able to look up that the power door lock actuator commonly fails because Acura used plastic gears in them and they strip over time. I decided to do the repair myself, but it was a complete pain. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth that Acura cheapened out on this part.
