So yes I am a victim of a really poorly executed transmission. I had issues with the 2 to 3rd jerky downshifts, but after the first software update, that issue was resolved; Yes braking is odd, it will grab like heck nearing the end of the stop, Like you have to ask yourself why the car could not figure out you were slowing down then all of a sudden it decides "oh I have to brake", really Honda, not acceptable.... but all that aside. The car went in for the SH-AWD model recall where the car may slip out of park and roll when unattended, that was done, so sort of vision scope inspection on the actuator linkage.. That passed, BUT I believe the issue is deeper then that.

Came home from work parked the car, next morning I had the remote key start in my pocket, decided to give it a remote start, mind you the car was parked in my driveway, which has an incline upward; and parked in from of that was my new 2015 MINI.. Much to my surprise, and never before had it done this, the car started remotely and then slipped into drive!!! moved at least 1/2 foot forward under power towards the MINI!!! Then stopped, slipped out of drive and rolled back the same distance to which a distinct was heard and then stopped, car was still running remotely as expected... My guess is I am a STILL A VICTIM of the first recall and he car is NOT GOING INTO PARK, FULLY!!.

I opened a complaint the ACURA and was told unless they can recreate the problem it may not be able to be fixed.. I can tell ya now I am not letting up on this. If anyone was crossing in front of that vehicle or it was parked in a garage it would have hit them or the wall.. If it slips out of park and rolls out my driveway it is not going to be pretty as it will roll many many feet down a steep hill on farmland.. My only relief is I did not buy the car it is leased, so if HONDA wants this car back in one piece then they better fix it before it drives itself into an accident, honestly for safety reasons, I simply do not want the car anymore..

IT is headed to the dealer next week 10/16, so I will update the record here to see what they find, but I can probably do that now as it will be a pat on the back and here ya go sucker.. My dealer ship by the way in Northeast Acura in Latham NY, good guys, but hey the will only do what HONDA will reimburse for, recreate the problem? Really and kill someone, I agree with the other posts Acura needs to own up to this bull!@#$ and recall the vehciles before someone gets killed.
