Although I understand that the recall on the Takata air bags is very painstaking for automobile companies, I do have some gripes. Initially, I considered trading my Acura TL, however, the resale value has taken a significant hit, therefore it would not leave me much room for negotiation. Also, there were no loaners available, so I had to receive a rental through enterprise; the rate acura is paying is only 35/day. I am currently driving a Hyundai Sonata, hardly comparable to my TL which I am still paying for. Basically, this process has left a bad taste in my mouth as it relates to Acura. As soon as I can, I will be unloading my TL and jumping ship to Lexus. I understand the customer service of Lexus is top notch...... by and large much better than anything Acura can give.
