Noticed in past few years during regular maintenance timed oil changes barely any oil comes out of engine and hadn't been receiving low oil warnings. Last oil change in September of 2022 barely any came out and however many quarts it takes was added and new filter and on my way. Here we are April of 2023 and I'm NOW getting low oil warning. I am 600 miles away from needing oil change. Checked dipstick and hardly showed anything at all. I had to add oil. Never had to do this before.
SO, now knowing all this, googled to find out why my Acura TL is burning so much oil between oil changes.
Come to find out about a lawsuit in 2020 against Acura and a settlement was reached, etc.
I'm now concerned about any engine damage my low oil did to it when I didn't even know it was low or burning off that fast. Acura knew.
What are my rights and how can I have my car serviced/checked and/or fixed for issues associated with this as it is a fault in the engine and Acura settled a lawsuit about it.
Why was my car never recalled? Where's my free fix?
