I was making a right turn on a very busy intersection and suddenly my car started drifting into the opposite lane (left) and heading head to head collision with another car. The dashboard was blinking and I saw a power steering warning light on. Barely avoided a crash with another vehicle and was managed to turn right. It was like a slow motion movie. It was almost impossible to run a power steering. Lucky, I avoided a collision and serious injuries. In 3 min everything went back to normal, but I set up an appointment with local Acura dealer that suggested to replace EPS unit. When I got to a dealership and park my car, there was no go from this point. It was complete EPS failure. I could not drive my car and have no choice but to pay over $800! My Acura was certified, but it would not cover it. Shame on Acura, so many owners have had a similar problem! Acura should issue a recall!
