I am going to tell you about my 2012 Acura TL. I loved that car; however, since purchasing it I have had NOTHING but problems. I had a recall on the Torque-i got that fixed. I took the car to the dealership, Johnson City Acura, 2 X's because the passenger side airbag keeps coming on with no one or nothing in the seat. Acura said, "nothing wrong" It is still happening coming on for no reason. I had the recall on the torque- they did fix that thankfully. I understand that the car is out of warranty, but I also understand that the faulty components so close to the expiration of the warranty should be covered. You are not standing behind your car because these components should last longer than 8,000 miles after warranty. I have babied that car. I go to the dealership for everything. I get oil changes from Acura and use only the premium gas(that is what I was told to do) trying to keep the car in the best running order. All of these thing have proven to be in vain. I could have taken my car and used cheaper mechanic and used MUCH cheaper gas and probably gotten the same results, maybe even better results. I am a hard working owner of the Acura TL for now.( they are NOT cheap) I was looking at trading the TL for an MDX, but now I have definitely changed my mind. I am usually not a complainer, but I felt that this was something that I needed to address. I work hard for my money and try to the "BEST of things so they will last longer. That did not prove true to the Acura TL. It has caused lots of time, money, and now heartache, as I am now being charged 850.00 for the alternator, one year old battery that needs to be replaced, and the diagnostic test to see what was wrong the car. It should have been detected, if it were the alternator when I had it to Johnson City Acura on Oct 30, 2017. This was truly an eye opener. I had a Volvo S80, it had 132,000 miles and is still going strong per the owner of it. I sold that car for the 2012 Acura TL with all of the problems. Live and learn I guess! If its not broken, don't get rid of it. AND... don't buy an

Acura.
