Brought to 5 different mechanics and didn’t find out that it could be the head gasket until over a year later when I saw the last 2 mechanics. I replaced radiator, thermostat, replaced coolant, radiator cap, spent tons of $$ on diagnostic fees - just for the mechanics to tell me the wrong info! AND COULDNT fix it!! Plus my car kept overheating, especially in the summer! I’ve been dealing with this for 18 months!! I always took care of my car and don’t understand how this happened. They want to charge me $3000-$4000 for replaced head gasket and said that it might NOT EVEN FIX the PROBLEM!!! My car is only worth $5200-$6200 if it didn’t hand these problems, so it’s not worth fixing because I was planning to sell it. This is my 4th Acura and I’ve never had a problem until this vehicle! If anyone has any info that could help please let me know. Thanks!!
