The contact owns a 2007 Acura TL. While driving approximately 30 mph over a bump in the road, the contact heard an unusual noise coming from the front wheels. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or independent mechanic to determine the cause of the noise. The manufacturer was not contacted. The approximate failure mileage was 149,000.
The car came with factory chrome wheels. The chrome is failing on the inside bead, and the tires no longer hold pressure. This can cause a catastrophic fail, collision or loss of vehicle control. Wheels can not be repaired locally.
