My A/C Compressor clutch relay obviously failed in the first few months of having the car. It intermittently would short, causing the battery to drain quickly. I believe I have gone through 6 batteries in 8 years. Acura ignored this problem ("Oh, these new cars have a lot of parasitic drain on the battery"). Some blamed the Hands Free Link (Bluetooth) Module, but I had this replaced and still the same problem. They did finally issue TSB 11-031 to fix this, but only on the MDX. If this relay is stuck, the A/C cooling fan will not come on and you will get warm air blown into the car when you first start it. Replacing it with a new, more robust relay, seems to be the fix. Be sure to get the -A05, and not the original -A03 (which Honda Parts Dept may try to supply instead).
