condensation in head light assembly shorted out hid ballast
Watery headlight assembly on 2006 Acura TL with an ingeniuosly mounted ballast with top entry wiring connection bolted to the very bottom of the assembly where all the excess water collects. Removed head light assembly and poured out about 1/4 cup of water, shook the bad ballast and you could hear water sloshing inside the electrical housing, pried open corner and poured out another one quarter cup. Since Acura is a supposed to be a luxury automobile line, perhaps they could route hose from bottom of assembly into cabin, add an inline filter and dispenser near console
