After 5 years of owning my 2006 Acura TL, hairline cracks started showing up on passenger side dashboard. Within a week I have 3 big long cracks all along and above the air bag area of the passenger dashboard. Car is garage kept and there should be no reason why the dashboard is cracking up so bad. I am worried that this can affect the way the airbag functions in case of an accident. Unacceptable for a luxury vehicle with only 75,000 miles on it. Very disappointed.
Dashboard is cracking on passenger side where the airbag releases. Feel this may be a safety issue. In a matter of one week went from no visible crack to approximately four inches long and then to twelve inches long. Acura will not replace as vehicle is out of warranty.
