Around 4/2015 I noted a few nickel size greying patches appearing on the front bumper. I thought possibly something sprayed on it off the road to create the problem. As time went on, more patches developed and grew in size. Upon further inspection it was determined that the clear coat over the paint was peeling (somewhat like your skin would peel after a sunburn). All of the problem is currently limited to various parts of the front bumper. An estimate for repair in the amount of $529 was received from a local vehicle repair facility (remove bumper and surrounding parts, sand down bumper, repaint, apply clear coat).
