The contact owns a 2006 Acura TL. While driving between 30-55 mph on normal road conditions, the rearview mirror became loose and exhibited a rattling noise and vibration. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for inspection and was repaired. The driver stated that there was a technical service bulletin for the rearview mirror. On two separate occasions, the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for identical failures with no resolutions. The technician recommended that the rearview mirror be replaced at the cost of $230. The vehicle has not been repaired. The VIN was unknown. The failure mileage was between 30,000-40,000 and current mileage was 73,000.
