Airbag: Cracked dashboard above airbag. ABS off steering: (in motion and when stationary) steering wheel moaned while turning wheel/driving and even after parking and turning steering wheel. Brakes: (in motion) when going down on dips on road, brakes make noise and seem to slip.
The contact owns a 2005 Acura TL. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 65 mph, the brakes engaged independently without warning. The failure recurred on multiple occasions. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the yaw sensor chip needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 70,000.
