I purchased a 2019 RDX A Spec with the factory fog lights. They are useless. They are pointing down to where you can't see them out of the drivers windshield. over the rear drivers door mirror, I took the car for a trip to GA one night it was really foggy and I need them. they were on but did not assist me in driving in foggy conditions.
I took the car to Acura car land in GA, to see if they could be adjusted. The dealer in Car land Acura dealer told me there was no adjustment. I did some research and found out that there is a adjustment for the fog light so when I got back to NY I took the car to Paragon Acura to have them adjusted. The dealer told me they adjusted them some but there was not enough adjustment to get them to the proper level.
I feel that I took the car to bills garage around the corner since the certified Acura dealer did not know or research the adjustment. Is this a luxury car mechanic?
I called Acura Customer service to complain spoke to Eddie ( who would not give me his last name or employee number ) they are totally useless. They told me it was normal and they might fix it in the next model. What kind of stupidity is that. I purposely bought the car with fog lights to assist me in driving on foggy days.
I have been a loyal Accra car fan. I had a 1990 Legend L which I just sold. That car was fantastic. Eddie from Acura told me to not compare that car to this. I said why it's 30 years old and this 2019 should be 100 percent better.
All I can say is Accra treats you like you bought a Ford. Really pissed off right now the 2019 RDX is fast that is all. Quality is not there.
Acura Quality in customer support, service and also the car build is sub par. I would defiantly stay away from them. I know the car gets rave reviews but I am an owner with the car for 6 months and not getting paid to tell you it's great.
