After taking delivery of a new 2015 Acura RDX, I was adjusting seats and mirrors before driving off. The passenger side rear view mirror would not adjust outward enough for my rear viewing and showed the side of the car. I took the vehicle back to the dealer and they brought in another car for me to try. This RDX did the same thing. The dealer said there was no way to adjust the mirror. I think for a $41,000 car the outside mirror should be able to adjust to any driver's requirements. I'm 5'8" tall. If I were any taller the mirror would have to move further out. It could not do that the way it is now.
I can't believe no one else has run into this problem unless these are the only two cars that are this way. Highly unlikely! After letting the dealer know this was unacceptable he reluctantly put in a notice with the manufacturer. I can only wait for their response.
