RATTLE, CRAZY RATTLE - DO NOT BUY THIS CAR - SOUNDS LIKE A CHEAP 1970'S P.O.C. - ACURA SAYS NO FIX!!!
Bought a Certified Pre-Owned 2011 RDX with 33K miles. If you have the drivers window down an inch to 1/2 way it rattles like crazy during normal driving (no need for bumps even). The only way to "stop" the rattle is to either keep the window fully up or almost all the way down. This is the same for 3 of the 4 windows, with the driver's window being the worst culprit.
Even more amazing is that Acura says that the "car is designed that way" and there is no fix!!! So let me get this straight, I have a car which is close to $40k new, and supposed to be a luxury brand, and you haven't fixed this problem after all these years!?!?! The service tech knew about the issue and assured me this was a common problem. But --- alas --- he said "everything else in the car works great" ... Well if I am eating at a 5-star restaurant and the food is amazing but the restaurant has a horrible smell permeating throughout, it is just not going to be an enjoyable meal no matter how good the food is. This "unsolvable" window rattle makes me feel like I am driving a 1970's jalopy and completely ruins any enjoyment the car may otherwise provide.
