Dealers are telling customers to replace turbo at upwards of $9000. There are commenters on Acurazine that have cleared code by replacing turbo flow actuator rod end, or better replacing turbo flow actuator as research showing diaphragm tears at around 100k. I only found 2 commenters that were able to have a dealer replace turbo flow actuator and solenoid around $2000. There are enough complaints to indicate it is a known issue. Why would you replace a badly designed turbo with another? Why won’t Acura support install of turbo flow actuator ONLY when there is not a turbo boost issue? It’s fraud.
