At 52,000 kms, my own mechanic spots a transmission fluid leak from transmission housing joint and front pump seal area. He points it out to me. I bring it to the Acura dealer where they once again put in a dye. I did this last year and was told there was no leak as well....I return a week later on Nov 29 and they tell me there is no leak, and if there was, it was just seepage....like that makes it okay. The service advisor rushes me out saying that I should bring it to the dealer for oil changes to ensure no oil gets spilled causing the wet area. He must take me for a dummy. I've brought 5 different vehicles over period of 10 years to my mechanic for servicing and this Acura is the only one ever with any leaks.....I must have bought a lemon.
The next day, I traded my 2010 RDX in for a 2013 Mercedes GLK. Enough is enough.
Having already replaced the torque converter, O2 sensor, new paint on the bumper, all under warranty, now there is a new oil leak coming from the area of the transmission. We've only had this vehicle for 1 1/2 years!!!
Dealer has put in dye to see where this leak is coming from....
I've never had so many problems with any of the vehicles I've owned before, let alone, one which was brought brand new!!!
Will update shortly.
