After realizing that it was the turbo that failed, I contacted the Acura dealership who quoted me a minimum in parts and labor of $8700 to replace the turbo. They were aware of the problem with this particular year which is why the 2008 models and beyond no longer used this type of turbo. I ended up being able to find a used turbo and had that installed for a fraction of the price but believe that since the company knew of the defect, a recall should have been issued. I highly warn anyone looking to buy the 2007 model.
