Sua incident. I slowly entered underground parking garage with brakes on, turned into parking stall (brakes on) and vehicle suddenly, rapidly accelerated, over riding brakes and crashed head on into cement wall causing airbag to deploy. Over $9000 in damage was done to the vehicle. Witness behind me testified that I was going very slowly and the brake lights were on from the time I entered the parking garage to the time of the crash.
The front brakes on my 2007 Acura Rdx make a loud grinding noise when applied on a slight downgrade or when stopping slightly harder than normal. The brakes have been replaced twice by the dealer and the problem continues. The dealership now states that Acura is aware and has no fix for the problem. The brakes feel like they are grabbing onto the rotor. The sound is similar to metal to metal grinding.
During a routine tire roataion on my 2007 Acura Rdx I was informed that the rear brakes were completely worn (90%) and the pads were wearing unevenly. The front brakes showed only 10% wear - the car had 20,000 miles on it.
: the contact stated while driving 30 mph, as the gears shifted into 2nd, a loud clunking noise was heard and the ABS brake warning light illuminated. The navigation system issued a warning message that the brakes had a problem and recommended immediate service. This was the second occurrence. The service dealer inspected the vehicle and was unable to identify the problem. The manufacturer was notified. The manufacturer was american Honda. Make: Acura. Model: Rdx.
