My MDX was just a few months old. Driver seat would not adjust and had loud noise. Took into the dealership and they tried to repair it. Went on a vacation to Florida. Seat acted up again, I could not raise or lower or adjust the seat and the steering wheel would not adjust. The noise was loud and the back of the driver seat came off. Had to buy Duck Tape to keep it in place until I got back to my Home State. Took back to dealership. Said they ordered another seat. Seat worked fine for about 3 to 4 weeks and the problem returned as before. Took car back to dealership again. This time I was told that the seat was not fitting on frame properly, frame was supposedly bent. Supposedly fixed it. Again 3 or 4 weeks later. Seat acting up again. Again, back to the dealership and again preparing to make our annual vacation to Florida and the seat is not adjusting and the noise has returned with the steering wheel not adjusting again. I have been told that ACURA is aware of the problem and they have ordered new motors for the seats. I was gone for two weeks to Florida. Bought two cushions to raise the height of the drivers seat since I could not raise the seat nor lower the steering wheel. Did not enjoy driving my new ( one year old) MDX. Started to take my car to a Florida Acura dealership but decided to wait until return home. I did not want to have my car interfere with my vacation. Now I am being told that ACURA will not pay to repair the seat and they don't know when or if they can get new motors for the seat. This is my 8th ACURA. I am not sure I will purchase another one. This has been a very bad experience. I WANT my car repaired!!! Not sure where to turn now. Dealership says not sure if or when they can repair the car seat.
