This is the exact same problem I am having as reported on this 2016 Acura MDX
THIS DRIVER SEAT IS MADE DEFECTIVELY AS EVIDENCED BY THE SEAT BOTTOM FROM LEFT TO RIGHT. THIS PART OF THE SEAT IS NOT LEVEL ON ANY PART OF THE SEAT BOTTOM. ANY OTHER CAR SEAT IS PERFECTLY LEVEL ON ALL AREAS OF THE SEAT BOTTOM ADDITIONALLY THE SEAT IS SLOPED FROM FRONT TO BACK UNEVENLY, THERE ARE HIGH AREAS AND LOW AREAS. ALL OTHER CAR SEATS ARE SLOPED EVENLY, HIGHER WHERE YOUR KNEES ARE AND SLOPED DOWN AT AN ANGLE TO BE DETERMINED TO WHERE YOUR TUSH SITS. ACURA MDX SEAT BOTTOM THIRD PANEL CLOSEST TO THE UPRIGHT SINKS EXTREMELY LOW THEREBY CAUSING EXTREME LOWER RIGHT BACK, HIP AND LEG PAIN AND NUMBNESS. THIS SEAT IS DEFECTIVE AND SHOULD BE FIXED.
THE UPRIGHT IS CURVED AND THE HEADREST PROTRUDES WHEN ALL OTHER SEAT UPRIGHTS ARE FLAT. THIS SEAT IS DEFECTIVE AND SHOULD BE FIXED AND/OR REPLACED BY ACURA.
WE PAY FOR A QUALITY NAMED CAR AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN SOLD A CAR WHICH DOES NOT CAUSE BACK, HIP OR LEG PROBLEMS, HERNIATED OR BULGING DISCS AND NERVE ISSUES.
THIS SHOULD RESULT IN A CLASS ACTION SUIT AGAINST ACURA TO SUPPLY MDX OWNERS WITH A SEAT THAT IS DESIGNED WITHIN ACCEPTABLE PARAMETERS. A SEAT THAT IS CAPABLE OF ADJUSTING THE KNEES LOWER THAN THE HIPS AND ABLE TO SIT IN AN UPRIGHT POSITION.
I did not realize all the pain I was experiencing was from the vehicle until I had someone else drive it for more then 45 minutes, they could barely walk after exiting the vehicle after a 3 hour drive.
