This is the standard intermittent "chirping" noise reported by many owners that is most noticeable when coming to a stop and accelerating ( note: it is always there as the engine and road tends to mask the noise at speed ). Some people have stated that it might be a vibrating fuel line that is attached to the firewall. This problem is totally ridiculous coming from a so called luxury vehicle. My service rep states that they can only spend "10 minutes" test driving a vehicle and if the sound doesn't occur at that point , I am out of luck and there is nothing they can do. The so called Acura "Customer Relations" is also a sad joke and is absolutely no help. What is even more irritating is that Honda/Acura does not admit that there is an issue, take responsibility and fix it. This is my first Honda product and probably my last if this is not repairable under warranty.
Update from May 18, 2016: I actually recorded the noise and relayed the audio file to my Acura Dealership. I am patiently waiting ( three weeks ) for a reply. Honestly, I would be surprised if this is properly addressed by the Dealership, as it would open up a can of worms for Acura to also own up and have backbone to admit that there is a problem.
