I have taken it in to several Acura repair facilities, some charge some do not, but the problem occurs each time I turn on my A/C. The last time I took it in I was told that an Acura specialist would be in town soon and I would be contacted when the individual arrives...that was several months ago. I loved Honda/Acura (this is my 7th one) but I am paying off this vehicle in the next year and moving on to another brand...mainly because I feel the car smells bad but secondly because I do not feel the Acura customer service is what it used to be sin I keep getting brushed off.
The problem has begun after I have used the heater for the first time during the cold weather. I have used heater for about one week. After this period of time in a morning, I started the car and immediately felt a bad smell which is difficult to describe but it smells like chemicals. After running a car for 10-15 minutes the smell was gone.
